Brianna Scurry Fields & Ice Rink

The Brianna Scurry Soccer Field is a spacious, well-maintained area featuring multiple fields perfect for soccer enthusiasts of all ages.  This field also serves as a home for lacrosse, offering a great space for fast-paced play.  Brianna Scurry also features a skating rink  with lights and available on-site parking.

**The Champlin Dayton Athletic Association (CDAA) holds priority scheduling for field use April through October.

Ice Rink Update 12-18-2025

The City has begun preparations for the Central Park Ice Rink.  Snow removal has been completed, and some initial flooding is underway. Due to the current warm weather and rain, progress in establishing the base and building up the skating surface is expected to be gradual. We will continue to work on the rink and will post an announcement about when it is safe to use and the hours of operation.

This year we will only be preparing and maintaining the Central Park Ice Rink. Substantial improvements have been made to the turf at Sundance Woods Park, and staff need to let the grass establish a sturdy root system before we attempt to install a rink over it. We appreciate your patience with this, and look forward to installing the rink for the 2026/2027 season.
