Council terms are four years, and Mayor term is two years.
City Council Meetings
The Dayton City Council regularly meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held at Dayton City Hall. Please contact Zach Doud, City Administrator, at (763)323-4010 or email zdoud@daytonmn.gov for more information related to City Council. The agenda packets and meeting minutes are available to view online or at City Hall.
If you would like to be included in the distribution of the Council packet, please email abenting@daytonmn.gov and request to be added to the Council Packets. Packets will be distributed via email on the Thursday before the Council meeting. If you wish to be removed from the distribution list, you may request removal using the same method.

After you have downloaded zoom, you will need to click the correct date on the calendar to find the zoom link for the meeting. During this webinar you will be able to raise your hand and when the Mayor allows we will give you the opportunity to speak. You will also be able to type out a comment or question if you do not want to speak. Please see community calendar and click the link to join the zoom webinar.
