Appointment Application to Elm Creek Watershed
The City of Dayton is seeking a current Dayton resident to serve as its representative on the Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission. The Commission is a regional organization that works to protect and improve surface water and groundwater resources throughout the Elm Creek watershed and is governed by citizen representatives from seven member communities. Commissioners meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. and help guide watershed planning, review local water management plans, and support efforts to protect water quality, wildlife habitat, and recreational resources. Community Service Officer
Pay Range: $28.78-$39.70 (Top pay includes longevity pay up to 9% after 20 years)
Seeking applicant(s) for Full-time day shift Community Service Officer for the Dayton Police Department.
Duties include: Animal and city ordinance calls for service, prepare reports, respond to distress/emergency calls, administer first aid, investigate incidents, and assist sworn Peace Officers when needed. Other CSO type duties with emphasis on Community Oriented issues.
Requires: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum 18 yrs. of age. Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record. No prior criminal record or history. Experience dealing with the public. Good communication skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and on short-notice.
